How to solve level 23 of Mystic Worldz, a mahjongg style game.
The free downloadable game Mystic Worldz for Mac OS X and Windows computers, made by www.zhanggames.com, is a new variation of the classic Mahjong theme. It features many tricky to solve puzzle levels. Here are some great tips for solving the levels:
Each level has a certain layout of tiles. The game mixes the tile, but the layout still stays the same. This means you can remove the tiles in the same order, no matter how they look like. Also the game mirrors the level-layout horizontally and vertically, so pay attention to the importants spots of each level.
In general, it is cruicial to spot blocking sets of tiles before beginning to remove and tiles from the screen. Blocking sets are sets which can't be removed if there's nothing else left at the end. This will lead to a checkmated situation and you'd have to start the level again. So, before removing any tiles, spot the blocking sets. Then look for the tiles in the sets, some of them must be there at other positions. Remember them and don't remove the additional tiles together, remove them with the ones in the blocking sets only.
A rule of thumb is to look for any identical tiles before removing a pair. If the pair you want to remove is the only two tiles of that kind, you can remove them at once. If there are more of the same kind, check for blocking sets or make sure you can remove all of them at once.
Be aware that the higher level can get really tricky. Get some other players in front of your screen. Four eyes see more than two!
Have fun with this game. Again you can download it for free at www.zhanggames.com. There's a version for Mac OS X and one for Windows.
